Development

Rubic Cross-Chain Routing System

Currently, we are finishing our internal tests and Rubic will be ready to launch the world’s first-ever Cross-chain Routing system next week.

The main difference between Rubic and other solutions on the market, is the convenience of executing a transaction. Rubic combines the first step (bridge) and the second step (exchange) into one Swap, offering the best route and taking into account the liquidity and cost of gas.

2. Rubic Relay Widget Update

We’ve completed a major update for our Rubic Relay Widget! Now, any project can easily integrate it with the updated documentation that you can find here: https://docs.rubic.finance/rubic/rubic-relay-widget/instruction

Our widget now allows users to complete cross-chain swaps between networks, and next week it will allow users to complete swaps through our cross-chain routing feature. Here is a GIF with an updated UI and a demonstration of the new functionality.

Also, all projects will now be able to change the colors of the widget, so it can aesthetically blend into their platforms.

The Rubic Relay Widget just became considerably more convenient to use and visually spectacular. Do not miss a chance to use it!

3. WRBC

Today, we have successfully added liquidity to our wrapped RBC token for Polygon network (RBC). Now users of Polygon network can easily buy it through Rubic.exchange.

4. UI Updates

This week, we completed several UI updates:

Now, when a swap or bridge transaction is completed, users will see a notification informing them of a successful swap.
The notification indicator has appeared in ‘My Trades’.
Added the Cross-Chain tab in the header, which will be available after our Cross-Chain Routing launch.
Added new icons in our drop-down menu.

5. The ‘Analytics’ button was temporarily removed. It will return with the implementation of Analytics to the platform.

6. You can now pause the ‘Auto Refresh’.

Marketing

This week, we uploaded all our documentation and information about our project on GitBooks. For your convenience, we created several pages on Rubic’s key points and features. You can read it here. Now, our users will be able to find answers to many of the most frequently asked development questions, in one place.

2. Today, we started a media Cross-Chain Routing campaign. You can read about our newest feature in the BSCtimes. This article is devoted to the technical aspects of our Cross-Chain solution and its influence on the Crypto industry. We are convinced that this new feature is groundbreaking and a game changer in the crypto industry!

We also wrote another article regarding our Cross-Chain Routing, meant for widespread distribution. More media will continue to share news about the Rubic Cross-Chain Routing launch on August 31st.

4. On Tuesday, the Rubic Family contest concluded. During this contest, dozens of people participated, and all of them should have received their prizes by now! If you haven’t received your prize, please reach out to our team via Telegram. Our team wants to thank all of the users involved in this competition. Do not miss further events, so stay active!

5. There are only a few hours left to participate in the Harmony trading campaign! We had excellent participation in this trading campaign and winners will receive their prizes in the coming weeks! We again want to thank our partners over at Harmony for their contribution to this event! They are an incredible group of people that are doing some tremendous work on an awesome project. We appreciate their collaboration with us and we look forward to a prosperous future together!

6. Today is the final day of our Reddit Meme Contest. The winners will be announced next week on our Discord and Telegram channels! We will be judging all entries, so we want to wish every participant the best of luck! Your memes made us laugh, with some making us literally laugh-out-loud!

7. This week, we contacted more than 200 Binance Smart Chain projects, offering them a cross-chain routing activity. Today, we are going to have several calls with representatives from these projects. We will have new partnerships to announce soon that we hope will be strong and successful.

We also created a form for Binance Smart Chain projects interested in providing their users with the opportunity to buy and sell tokens from Ethereum to BSC with the gas fees refunded. A thanks to those who already filled out the form! We will contact you soon, in case we still haven’t.

8. Our Rubic Relay Community Activity continues. And today we have updated the Rubic Relay Widget! Now it is even more convenient to use and stylish in its presentation!

We hope the new Rubic Relay Widget design inspires you to participate in this activity. And all the projects our users will contact won’t be able to help themselves from integrating the Rubic Relay Widget.

8. Today, we hosted another “Weekly Voice Chat With Collin O’Brien” session in Telegram. Our host, Collin O’Brien, talked about the upcoming release of our Cross-Chain Routing solution.
