Development

Rubic.exchange Dark Mode

Today, we finished the integration of our Dark Mode UI for Rubic.exchange!

Below is an image of the layout and look of our Dark Mode. Since it was decided to be the default look for the platform, we wanted to get it just right and make sure that it looked as good as possible before we released it.

It is a certainty that we are going to continually improve upon our UI as well as work on all detected bugs in the coming weeks. We welcome your feedback, so please let us know what you think!

2. Harmony

We are happy to announce that the integration of the Harmony network is already in test mode.

The development stage is almost over, but it is difficult to predict all possible bugs and errors. We need time to test this feature, so we don’t have an exact date on integration just yet.

The first stage of the integration is going to entail the implementation of instant trades on the Harmony network.

The approximate date of the first stage of Harmony integration is the beginning of August. We hope to have it ready to go by the end of next week, but it could push into the second week of August.

3. Fantom Network

This week we held a governance vote on our next blockchain network integration. Our community chose the Fantom network!

The integration of Fantom will include Instant Trades as well as Cross-Chain Swaps.

For now, we have started research to determine the date for its future integration. We will provide you with exact dates in future weekly updates.

4. Cross-chain Routing

The development progress of our cross-chain routing feature is roughly 55% complete. The smart contracts for our liquidity pools are about 80% complete. More information about the cross-chain routing functionality will be shared in our future weekly updates.

MARKETING

1. The Rubic team wants to thank all of you for participating in our second governance vote this week!

We were thrilled to find out who would win just as much as you were. We are going to integrate the Fantom network into Rubic.exchange soon, and we owe it to our community. Thank you!

This governance vote included 56 participants who voted with 8.6 million RBC for Fantom. Rubic always heeds guidance from our community and strives to make the platform more convenient and practical for all of our users.

Fantom is a high-performance, scalable, and secure smart-contract platform. It is designed to overcome the limitations of previous generation blockchain platforms. Fantom’s daily trade volume is $60 Million and it has a circulating supply of 2.5 Billion FTM coins and a total supply of 3.18 Billion. The Rubic team considers this partnership to be very promising, and we are very much looking forward to integrating their network into our platform.

2. This week, we have been working on the completion of the Rubic Merch Shop. Today we are ready to present the designs of our future merchandise. We are planning to release four trendy hoodies and four fancy T-shirts for our awesome community! Apart from the delivery, the price varies from $50 to $60 for most of these limited items. Since there are still some challenges and restrictions due to the Covid-19 pandemic, shipping will take up to a month or longer.

All these items are limited and intended to spread Rubic’s team spirit throughout our community. We want every member of the community to feel closer to our project. The reason we decided to launch the Merch Shop is to unite all of our users by their love of Rubic!

3. Our team is preparing a new marketing campaign regarding the launch of our Cross-Chain Routing. We have already come up with a plan for its realization, and today, we want to reveal just some parts of the future campaign.

The Rubic team has a detailed plan for this campaign and this game changing feature! We want to declare ourselves as the first platform with Cross-Chain Routing. For this, we are in contact with different media outlets and influencers to help us promote this feature.

We did not forget about tutorials! This part just requires more time and effort than we expected. New tutorials will be recorded as soon as the new UI of the platform is fully complete and all planned features are added.

Rubic will be the first to have created and implemented the first and only Cross-Chain Routing solution. That is why our team wants to make this campaign big! Stay tuned to follow all of our updates.

4. Rubic continues developing day-to-day. That is why we decided that our White Paper and One Pager are in need of an update! Soon, we are going to present this new documentation on our platform and company website. They will include descriptions of Rubic’s new features, changes to the design of the documentation and will update all the now-obsolete information.

5. We are pleased to build partnerships with platforms such as Harmony and Fantom. Since the information of these partnerships were shared by not only ourselves but by our partners, we are expecting the growth of all our communities.

6. Today’s Weekly Telegram Voice Chat was a special one! We were happy to have our first-ever guest on the show. Collin conducted an interview with Sam Harrison, who represents Harmony and is responsible for ecosystem growth of their project. The purpose of the interview was to inform and educate our communities about the Harmony network and what type of further integrations we can expect between Rubic and Harmony. Sam Harrison answered some questions that our team prepared specially for him, as well as taking questions from the audience alongside Collin in an AMA-style format.
