Development
- Oasis and Metis Integration
This week, we completed our integration of the Oasis and Metis networks into Rubic.exchange via Multichain as a provider.
Now, users can swap BIFI, LINK, and BETS tokens (depending on the chain) from and to Oasis along with 15 other blockchains: Ethereum, BSC, Polygon, Avalanche, Fantom, Telos, Moonbeam, Moonriver, Cronos, Kava, Metis, Optimism, Arbitrum, Fuse, and Celo.
Cross-chain swaps are available between Metis and Ethereum, BSC, Polygon, Avalanche, Fantom, Telos, Moonbeam, Moonriver, Cronos, Boba, Oasis, Kava, Optimism, Arbitrum, Fuse, Celo, and Gnosis. The tokens available for swaps to and from the Metis blockchain are: AVAX, BNB, BIFI, BIOS, BTD, BUSD, GTPS, MAI, MATIC, MIM, OH, QI, STND, UNIDX, and wsHUMP, depending on the exact chain.
Along with the integration of this network, Rubic’s Dev team has added YuzuSwap as a DEX for Oasis, and Netswap for Metis.

2. Syscoin Integration
This week, we managed to integrate 3 new networks and increased our number of supported blockchains to 24!
The Syscoin Network is a multi-layered blockchain that combines the best of Bitcoin’s security and Ethereum’s smart contract capabilities.
The Syscoin Network was integrated into Rubic.exchange. A DEX conducting swaps from and to Syscoin is Pegasys, the first DEX and AMM on Syscoin NEVM. Have a look at this article about Pegasys’ integration into Syscoin.

3. Klaytn and Velas Upcoming Integrations
Next week, Rubic’s team will complete the integration of 2 more blockchains — Klaytn and Velas. This integration will also bring new DEXs to Rubic.exchange:
- ClaimSwap for Klaytn Blockchain
- AstroSwap and WagyuSwap for Velas
With these blockchains, Rubic expands its ecosystem to 26 blockchains!

4. On-Chain Proxy Contract
Rubic’s Dev Team resumed the development of the On-Chain proxy contract. We’ve been testing out this contract for the last three days at Rubic.exchange. When this contract is live, users don’t have to approve the best DEX every time they are implementing their transaction. And fees for on-chain trading will become more flexible.
5. XY Provider Integration
This week, we’ve added a new cross-chain provider to Rubic.exchange, XY Finance. It is a cross-chain interoperability protocol aggregating DEXs & Bridges, enabling Smart Routing. Smart routing provides the best rates and top speed for all cross-chain transactions.
6. Security Update
Due to the recent developments, Rubic enhanced its security measures on all levels — from hardware to smart contacts.
From now on, all the smart contracts related to community funds, staking, and depositing, are handed over to Gnosis Safe, a platform for managing digital assets on Ethereum with advanced standards for smart contract security.
Never keeping all of our eggs in just one basket, we have set up several Safes for managing assets assigned for each type of smart contracts: staking, rewards, deposits, project funds, etc.
For staking & reward smart contracts, we created a multisig wallet with 4 owners, meaning that even if a wallet’s private key is compromised, it’s impossible to fulfill any transactions without several signatures.
One of them is a backup address that is kept on a separate hardware in a safe. This is a backup address that can sign the transaction if the three others are down, and without this address, the transaction can’t be executed.
But that’s not all!
- The networking hardware and equipment is constantly checked.
- The internal Wi-Fi network has been reconfigured.
- The hardware has been tested on the issue of malware.
Users’ funds have always been safe and now, are even more secure. None of our contracts have ever been exploited or moved to unintended destinations.
Rubic continues working at full throttle, while users & integrators can be assured that the security measures on Rubic are now facilitated with enhanced security measures.

This week, together with W3DNA, we held an NFT giveaway on Galxe.
The top 100 most frequent swappers who claimed the NFT will get one of 100 domains from W3DNA. The winners will be able to choose any available domain name. The domains will be sent to users’ BEP-20 wallets.
