Rubic Weekly Report 03/12

Here is our weekly update!

Development

1. Limit Orders

This week we have decreased the minimum threshold for limit orders.

Now a limit order will be executed if the total profit for arbitrage is more than 0.035 ETH.

2. Refactoring

Frontend refactoring

We continue the frontend part refactoring, and optimize the Instant Trades functionality and the next step is to update the Order Book module. It will increase the frontend processing speed up to 10%.

Backend refactoring

We optimized the cross-chain swaps, next week we plan to move the backend part of the system to the new servers that will increase the reliability of the Rubic platform.

3. We are constantly improving our platform:

Error messages were updated to be more clear.
Order Book tips and UI were improved.
FAQ was updated for the limit orders.
Rubic slogan was updated in the browser header.
The list of partners was updated with DASH as the latest one.

4. Layer2 and Anonymizer

Completed implementation of concealer validation and saving. Started integration of contract internal logic components that rely on Merkle Tree.
Working on an external hasher contract. This contract will provide a special hashing algorithm, which will be used by the main contract.
Core backend for Trusted Ceremony setup was succeeded to launch in development mode, started the implementation of user verification and API layers.
Operational logic of deposit handling is currently in development.

1. In the past week, we received loads of questions from our community, and to answer them, we will host an AMA session this Monday (15-March).

2. In February we started our Staking Liquidity Campaign where users could provide liquidity for Rubic (RBC). The first 1.5 months of the Campaign have already passed and as we mentioned in our announcement, now you can choose if you want to get the reward for this period of participation in the Campaign. For the 3 months option, we will release a new form before 5-May. You still have to provide liquidity until 20-March.
