Today, we have completed an important Milestone for the first two months of 2022. Rubic’s team has finished and is excited to release the integration of the third blockchain in 3 weeks. The integration of NEAR Protocol will enable users of the Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Polygon, Avalanche, Moonriver, Fantom, Solana, Harmony, Arbitrum, and Aurora networks to easily complete swaps to and from any token in the NEAR ecosystem.
This integration was done as part of our participation in the Encode x NEAR Hackathon.
During this hackathon, the participating teams need to complete the development of a dApp which could then be used in the NEAR ecosystem.
On-Chain and Multi-Chain Integrations
The integration of NEAR Protocol is the Final stage of our complete integration of the NEAR ecosystem. Besides the integration of NEAR Protocol to our Multi-Chain Routing feature, Rubic has also completed the integration of the main DEX on the NEAR Protocol: Ref Finance. As a result of these integrations, Rubic’s Multi-Chain Protocol will allow users of any blockchains integrated into Rubic.exchange to easily reach NEAR Protocol in a matter of minutes; without wasting their valuable time.
Due to differentiations in the NEAR protocol, our users will need to have a special wallet with NEAR support. For that, Rubic has also completed the integrations of the NEAR wallet into the Rubic ecosystem.
