Q1. Could you please introduce yourself and the Rubic project to our community? What is the vision and mission of Rubic.finance?

My name is Vladimir, CEO of Rubic. Ph.D. in Computer science.
Our team: In crypto since 2017, focusing mostly on development (not on marketing or PR). Two main directions: own products (Mywish.io as an example) and blockchain development for other companies rocknblock.io (for example, NEO or Axion).

Q2. There are many projects that are just copies of Uniswap. How different are you?

We are not a copy of uniswap 🙂
Our core idea: give simple access to users to interact with crypto.
Besides services like token creation or airdrop, we provide P2P Trades services — where everyone can create the trade on your own terms (set desired rate, public or private, set brokerage fee, and so on). We charge for trades creation and burn 30% of revenue in tokens every time. So, tokenomics are also different.

$RBC will be integrated into all our partners. It was integrated into MyWish as a payment method recently.

RBC is a utility token. It is a fuel for the Rubic platform.
Users pay for services on our platform by RBC, ETH, BTC or any other crypto. We convert all payments to RBC automatically (by DEXes) and use 70% for operational needs, 30% will be burnt (or distributed to Stakers — more details later).

Before answering let us back to the core idea. Rubic — Multichain DeFi Platform. There are main 2 strengths of our product: extremely simple to use and Multichain. Regarding p2p trades let me tell you about the Brokerage feature as an example.
If we have buyers and sellers you can easily connect them in one trade. And get commission automatically when the trade is executed.

How can we be confident that Rubic won’t disappear a year from now?
What are your strategies and plans for future mass adoption?

Let me answer regarding mass adoption. We believe that crypto needs extremely simple and friendly products. People from the fiat world will see how it’s easy to start using it. Friendly UI/UX, looking good on mobile also. By the introduction of such products, we will get many new users of blockchain

yes, now we are working on adding extra wallets to Rubic.exchange web and mobile. Will share release dates in a weekly report on Friday

Q7. Rubic network is built under Ethereum Network. Ethereum is suffering from high gas costs. How can the Rubic network solve this problem?

Good question. There are 2 main directions: 1. Since we are multichain you can use Tron or Binance Smart Chain if gas fees are so high. 2. We are looking into Layer 2 solutions (Matiс — discussed above) which can mitigate the issue if you are doing many trades

For the success of a project, investors, communities, and developers play a major role. What is your strategy to get them involved? What is the competitive advantage Rubic has that you feel most confident about?

Rubic is needed for all the holders and for all projects. You can sell/buy any token even it’s not listed on uniswap. No slippage, No volume limitation.

Why should we use your platform? What are the characteristics of Rubic that make it stand out from its competitors? What is the difference between this project and other platforms? What are the benefits?

Well, I think it is really easy to use that’s why everyone should use it 🙂 and yes we have competitors. We have a table in our WP, I have attached it, however shortly we will use different blockchains and will have a cross-chain solution, you can choose your rate, there is a brokerage fee, you can lock the liquidity until the trade is closed, no volume limits.

Today, the activities of hackers have increased significantly. So do you have adequate security to protect your platform from them? Do you have any plans to settle investors’ money in case of hacking?

timely question 😉 Our backend is based on smart contracts which carefully tested and reviewed by many engineers. Regarding the front end — we have just improved our server infrastructure to prevent bandwidth attacks. Plan to make stress testing in 2 weeks by white hat hackers

Very hard to reply and not change the mind later 🙂 Crypto is so active and a lot of things are changing every day. Since we are multichain, the cross-chain is critical for us. So, 2021 will be the year for cross-chain integrability (Polkadot integration)
