Rubic and Polygon are expanding their partnership to connect Ethereum and Polygon users under one platform.
We are happy to announce that our partnership with Polygon is expanding! Polygon and Rubic are introducing cross-chain solutions between ETH and Polygon. Now everyone will be able to transfer assets to Polygon and back on the Rubic platform, RBC token will be created on Polygon and mapped with Ethereum original, Quickswap DEX integration and Token creation on Polygon by MyWish service.
This partnership will make Rubic.exchange the ideal place for projects and users who want easily use Polygon along with all the other Rubic’s implemented blockchains: Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain, use the bridge tool to join into Polygon’s ecosystem, conduct P2P trades, and instant swaps on the network.
How will this implementation help Rubic and Polygon?
With the gas fees surge, the majority of users and traders have started to look for other protocols and solutions. Polygon is the Layer 2 Solution that got a lot of attention in this regard, featuring a blockchain with high-speed transactions at super-low fees, costing a fraction of a cent. And considering the current ETH gas fees, that’s sometimes unbelievable. Rubic’s users will soon be able to use our cross-chain solutions to take their tokens from Ethereum to Polygon, and vice-versa, and enjoy both of these thriving DeFi ecosystems.
As $RBC becomes more and more popular among users of all platforms, Rubic’s team is now considering and already investigating the process of creating the first wrapped RBC for the Polygon network. Rubic’s users will be able to swap RBC for Wrapped RBC directly on Rubic.exchange and trade them via Instant Trades or Order Book.
After the creation of WRBC (Wrapped RBC), we are planning to start a Liquidity Pool within Quickswap to facilitate the trading of the new token and offer users the possibility to swap at high-speed with low fees within the Polygon’s ecosystem. These implementations will make Rubic one of the top solutions for users who are planning or already use the Layer 2 solutions.
Closer and closer to fulfill our goals
Rubic and Polygon have already started working on this partnership in 2020 and both of the projects are happy to continue working together. Both projects are planning to create the best solutions for their users and the aforementioned implementations are making part of this process. Our common goals are to develop the best products for our users and focus on our user’s experience.
The implementation of MyWish services for the Polygon network, the creation and listing of tokens on Polygon, will be available for anyone. This feature will significantly increase the liquidity on the Polygon network and will facilitate the process of using its network which is well known for its low gas fees and fast transactions.
The new features will allow Polygon’s users to make even more comfortable trades and swaps under the ONE-STOP platform — Rubic. Rubic won’t rest until the cross-chain solutions are developed to a degree where each blockchain user out there is capable to swap any native blockchain token with other native tokens, all done in a decentralized manner. ONE-STOP Platform for DeFi services, this is our goal.
About Polygon (previously Matic)
Polygon is the first well-structured, easy-to-use platform for Ethereum scaling and infrastructure development. Its core component is Polygon SDK, a modular, flexible framework that supports building and connecting Secured Chains like Plasma, Optimistic Rollups, zkRollups, Validium etc and Standalone Chains like Matic POS, designed for flexibility and independence. Polygon’s Layer 2 Chains have seen widespread adoption with 90+ Dapps, ~7M txns and ~200K unique users.
If you’re an Ethereum Developer, you’re already a Polygon developer! Leverage Polygon’s fast and secure txns for your Dapp, get started here.
Rubic is a Multichain DeFi platform that organizes DeFi services to enable a project to create, manage, and trade tokens in a decentralized manner in ONE PLACE. Rubic supports Instant Trades, where users can swap tokens and get the best rates from all leading protocols (thanks to a DEX aggregator implementation), as well as P2P swaps within an Order Book where users can make deals on their own terms.
At the moment Rubic supports trades on Ethereum, Polygon, and Binance Smart Chain networks.
