deBridge in the Rubic Family
deBridge is an important cross-chain interoperability protocol in the Rubic ecosystem. The project was integrated into Rubic as a cross-chain provider in July 2022. deBridge brought more options to Rubic’s transaction routing, and facilitated the cost-efficiency of swap rates for Rubic’s users, as well as for SDK and Widget integrators. Rubic has enabled a namesake bridge from deBridge’s cross-chain infrastructure, which actively performs swaps between Ethereum, BNB, Polygon, Avalanche and Arbitrum (more chains to come soon).

- Infrastructure layer — off-chain validation nodes operated by experienced and well-known validators elected by deBridge governance
Arbitrary Data Messaging with deBridge
As a secure interoperability layer for Web3, deBridge allows users and protocols to transport not only value, but also arbitrary messages or CALLDATA across different chains.
The ability to pass arbitrary data opens up opportunities for true cross-chain composability of smart contracts and protocols that can now interact with each other despite the fact that they live in different blockchain ecosystems.
