The final week of Rubic’s Anniversary NFT Giveaway has come! Since September 26th, Rubic along with its partners and integrated projects, has been giving out compelling Anniversary NFTs — a key to future benefits and airdrops. Each week of the giveaway was dedicated to a particular cross-chain provider of Rubic: Symbiosis, Celer, LI.FI, Rango, and this week, we’re hosting deBridge!

Let’s shine a spotlight on deBridge and how it functions within the Rubic ecosystem. Keep on reading to learn more!
deBridge in the Rubic Family
deBridge is an important cross-chain interoperability protocol in the Rubic ecosystem. The project was integrated into Rubic as a cross-chain provider in July 2022. deBridge brought more options to Rubic’s transaction routing, and facilitated the cost-efficiency of swap rates for Rubic’s users, as well as for SDK and Widget integrators. Since then, Rubic has generated more than $1.6M of swap volume via deBridge. Check out how deBridge contributes to Rubic’s growth: https://dune.com/rubic_exchange/rc-provider-dbridge-stats
Rubic has enabled a namesake bridge from deBridge’s cross-chain infrastructure, which actively performs swaps between Ethereum, BNB, Polygon, Avalanche and Arbitrum (more chains to come soon).
What is deBridge?
deBridge is a secure interoperability layer for Web3, and a generic messaging and cross-chain interoperability protocol that enables anyone to build powerful cross-chain applications where value and messages flow seamlessly. Since launching its cross-chain bridge, deSwap, deBridge has built a suite of solutions enabling Web3 projects to easily build powerful cross-chain applications across DeFi, NFTs, Metaverses, gaming, and more. With deBridge, anyone can experience secure, seamless cross-chain interoperability today.
Moreover, deBridge is an infrastructure platform for
- decentralized cross-chain transfers of any value and messages
- cross-chain composability of smart contracts
- cross-chain swaps
- interoperability and bridging of NFTs
Any project can integrate with deBridge infrastructure to start building powerful cross-chain applications. These can, for instance, be:
- Build your own custom bridges for assets and NFTs, preserving custom NFT logic
- Enable users from other blockchain ecosystems to interact with any protocol
- Scale up any protocol to other chains and exchange commands/messages between components of their protocol
- Make any protocol composable with protocols from other ecosystems
- Build new types of cross-chain applications and primitives
As a generic messaging protocol and a cross-chain interoperability infrastructure, deBridge can be used to build any arbitrary cross-chain applications (deApps). Some notable solutions built with deBridge are:
- deSwap — Make capital-efficient cross-chain swaps between any liquid assets in 1 transaction
- dePort — Deploy any token to any supported chain, securely backed by your native asset
deBridge Protocol Structure
The deBridge protocol consists of 2 key layers:
- Protocol layer — on-chain smart contracts deployed on every blockchain supported by deBridge
- Infrastructure layer — off-chain validation nodes operated by experienced and well-known validators elected by deBridge governance
Arbitrary Data Messaging with deBridge
As a secure interoperability layer for Web3, deBridge allows users and protocols to transport not only value, but also arbitrary messages or CALLDATA across different chains.
The ability to pass arbitrary data opens up opportunities for true cross-chain composability of smart contracts and protocols that can now interact with each other despite the fact that they live in different blockchain ecosystems. An example would be an algorithmic stablecoin protocol on Ethereum, which opens positions in perpetual market protocols on Solana or Arbitrum in order to maintain the peg of its asset.
deBridge gives Web3 teams all the tools they need to build entirely new types of cross-chain applications and financial primitives. Some of the use cases are:
- Cross-chain swaps
- Multi-chain governance
- Cross-chain lending
- Cross-chain yield farming
deBridge: Cross-Chain Interoperability Without Limitations
Since launching its flagship cross-chain bridge, deSwap, deBridge has built a suite of solutions enabling Web3 projects to easily build powerful cross-chain applications across DeFi, NFTs, Metaverses, GameFi, and more. With deBridge, anyone can experience secure, seamless cross-chain interoperability. Developers and builders can interconnect any smart contracts across any blockchains, to perform transfers of data and transaction calls together with the value transfer in the same transaction.
Here’s some of deBridge’s protocol stats so far:
- $77.3M+ of swapping volume
- 114,000+ transactions
- 61,000+ unique users
- 108 bridged assets
- $193,0000 generated fees
deBridge is one of the most innovative cross-chain providers on Rubic, and we’re excited to have such a partner within our ecosystem.
