Hello, community!

29.12 Rubic is had an AMA session hosted by @Facemelters Spotlight (https://t.me/@Facemeltersmicros)

This was a great AMA and we want to share it with you !

@Facemelter:

- I want to give a big welcome to @korneva_a & @VLadimirTikhomirov who are joining us today for this *Ask Me Anything* event.

- Hello Alexandra and Vladimir.
@korneva_a

-Hi everyone! 😀

@VLadimirTikhomirov

-Hello @Facemelters

@Facemelter:

-Great to have you guys here today

Let’s melt some faces! So, we will have 2 parts to the AMA.

The first part the group will be frozen, and we will get a high-level feel for the project. The second section ill open to the community for live questions.

To begin with it would be great if you could each give us a few details of your histories and your roles in the Rubic team?

@korneva_a

-Sure, My name is Alexandra, PR and Marketing at Rubic, have more than 7 years experience in this area, and have worked with different crypto projects.

@VLadimirTikhomirov

-My name is Vladimir, Founder, Rubic. Ph.D. in Computer science.

Our team: In crypto since 2017, focusing mostly on development (not on marketing or PR). Two main directions: own products (Mywish.io as example) and blockchain development for other companies rocknblock.io (for example, NEO or Axion). Now we launch Rubic.finance.

@Facemelter:

-Thanks Alexandra. Nice to meet you Vladimir.

@VLadimirTikhomirov

Nice to meet you too

@Facemelter:

- OK, thats a nice start so lets get in to some of the details

Here are a few things I’d like us to touch base on:

1. Can you give us a little overview on Rubic’s history & vision?

Which chains does it include atm & whats the timeline on new chains?

2. Can you tell us a little bit more detail about the p2p trading system? Also about Instant trades on Rubic ?

3. Can you give us more detail on the token creation feature? Is this live now? What fees are involved.

b, What are the steps involved here for someone wanting to create their own token?

4. What is the benefit of holding the Rubic token?

5. Can you tell us more about how the privacy and security of the transactions are ensured?

6. How will the crosschain functionality be implemented and why do you think it is needed?

7. What to expect from Rubic regarding the development in 2021?

8. Future events, partnerships, points to note…

OK, thats a nice start so lets get in to some of the details

@korneva_a

Wow so many questions

let us answer one by one

@Facemelter,

I like to do my research…

@korneva_a

So lets start with the first one — shortly, Rubic is one stop solution for users and projects. Create a token, make airdrops, crowdsale, trading and OTC deals. We have launched Rubic in September 2020.

@Facemelter

Great, so you are almost 4 months live..

@korneva_a

Which chains does it include atm & what’s the timeline on new chains?

At the moment we have: Ethereum, Matic, Binance Smart Chain. And in 2021 we plan to add more like Tron, Waves and others. Actually any blockchain (with smart contracts). Decentralised and open source.

@Facemelter,

Wow amazing so currently you have 3 chains in operation…I must have been reading some outdated articles

Will you add chains based on demand?

@VLadimirTikhomirov,

Yes, but to be honest we do not see any big players which not added (except of Tron )

@Facemelter,

This is nice, thanks for sharing.

@korneva_a,

Yes 3 blockchain and more will be added soon

@VLadimirTikhomirov

2. Can you tell us a little bit more detail about the p2p trading system? Also about Instant trades on Rubic ?

P2P Trades services — where everyone can create the trade on your own terms (set desired rate, public or private, set brokerage fee and so on).

Brokerage feature as the example:

If we have buyer and seller you can easily connect them in one trade. And get commission automatically when trade is executed.

Also every trade has unique link like google docs. For example https://rubic.exchange/trades/public-v3/kgwc7w

Instant trades: make trades as on uniswap on any blockchain.

@Facemelter,

So who sets the brokerage fee and what do you mean public vs private

@VLadimirTikhomirov,

public: everyone see the trade on the site, private you can share the link only. Like google docs

@Facemelter,

Ahh, cool. Thats really beneficial actually. I always need a trusted otc partner.

@Facemelter,

I assume this is smart contract based and will expire after a certain time period?

@VLadimirTikhomirov,

yes, you are right, just for example expired one: https://rubic.exchange/trades/public-v3/kgwc7w

@korneva_a,

The 3 question — Can you give us more detail on the token creation feature? Is this live now? What fees are involved.

b, What are the steps involved here for someone wanting to create their own token?

Answer: Yes, it is live. You can use our partner MyWish, and can create your own token without any coding knowledge on 6 blockchains: Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Matic, Neo, EOS, Waves. The fee for the creation depends on the blockchain aprox 400 USDT.

After you create a token you can start using Rubic for trading on the supported blockchains. More details here https://mywish.io/

I have also attached a pic with our statistic

@Facemelter,

Cool, I can see how you describe it as a one stop shop

@Facemelter,

So benefits of holding the token itself..

@VLadimirTikhomirov,

RBC is a utility token, fuel for the Rubic platform.

Users pay for services on our platform by RBC, ETH, BTC or any other crypto.

Rubic generates revenue while exchanging the tokens.

Revenue will be divided by 3 parts:

Part 1. Convert to ETH/DAI for operational needs

Part 2. Convert to RBC and burn.

Part 3. Convert to RBC and used for cashback.

@korneva_a,

The 5 regarding the privacy and security

We are web3 application and backend is used for fast loading only. Open-sourced, smart contracts were reviewed and working since 2019. Everyone can check our github: https://github.com/Cryptorubic/rubic_frontend

@Facemelter,

Nice one. Thanks for sharing.

@Facemelter,

Excellent, in sure some of the community here will have a check of the github.

@Facemelter,

Very interested in the crosschain ability, can you delve into it more as per q6

@VLadimirTikhomirov,

6. How will the crosschain functionality be implemented and why do you think it is needed?

2 months ago we believed that Polkadot will be the best solution for this. After the research it’s unlikely that they will launch crosschain in 2021. So, until it’s not ready we will integrate others bridges (like Panama, RenBTC, Matic.).

Ethereum has a great ecosystem, but if you need scalability you can use Tron or Smart Chain on our platform. We are combining the advantages of the blockchains.

@Facemelter,

Do you create bridges for projects..

@VLadimirTikhomirov,

yes, we did some custom bridges (wrapped tokens) for ETH<>BSC as the example. But it’s not part of the service yet

@Facemelter,

Ah cool, so maybe that leads us into 2021 and what the future holds for rubic

@VLadimirTikhomirov,

thanks for note, will include project’s bridges to roadmap

@Facemelter,

Yes, good idea..definitely great opportunities and partnerships to be made there

@Facemelter,

Generally how has the 4 livr months been for you guys, busier than expected, have volumes met expectations?

@korneva_a,

Q7 2021 plans- First of all the cross chain solution, more blockchains and bridges. We have our Fast Listing Feature so we will continue to help projects to be listed fast. And there are few more ideas that we will share with our community soon 🙂

@Facemelter,

How does the fast listing work?

@VLadimirTikhomirov,

to be honest — no, some many projects make the same in Ethereum now (uniswap, airswap, kyber and so on). But only Rubic will provide cross-chain, when you can get tokens from BSC and pay by Ether. In Ethereum we launched Fast Listing and it showed promising results.

@korneva_a,

Every day, several projects are listed on uniswap and other centralized exchanges. However, to trade a new token on uniswap, project investors need to go through complex links, accept conditions, and manually add a token. This slows down token trading and carries risks in the choice of the wrong token.

Daily in Rubic we will be listing new projects from uniswap, and generate a unique link for easy trading on the platform. For example, rubic.exchange/rbc

Due to the integration with different DEXs, users will get the simplest interface to buy/sell tokens of the project. The token will be listed on the Rubic platform.

@Facemelter,

Great. Tbh I hadn’t heard of you guys until you reached out but through research I see a really nice tidy project with lots of potential

@Facemelter,

Cool

@Facemelter,

OK, I’m going to open the group for questions in a minute

@Facemelter,

Is there anything else you would like to share before I do so

@korneva_a,

awesome, we are ready for more questions

@vikirdong

I see that you can contribute both currencies of the trade, for example if it is LINK/USDT, I can change both LINK and USDT depending on where I contribute. How does this work? Isn’t the person who opens the trade supposed to have the full amount of the currencies they send?

@VLadimirTikhomirov,

Everyone can create the trade (if we are not talking about instant trades) and share it with others. You may not fill it by tokens, or fill it partially.

@korneva_a

Hi thanks for the question, we have very friendly and intuitive UI, you can check it here rubic.exchange. You dont need to pass any KYC, just connect your Metamask and start trading.

@jlaudybell

How does Escrow work and how are other p2p services different like Binance? Do you have options for p2p like company or anyone can become p2p? What advantages do you see at the BSC?

@VLadimirTikhomirov

Instead of Escrow we have smart contracts, so it’s fully decentralized. Regarding advantages of the blockchains — I think everyone know about it. Low gas fees in Binance/Tron, but much less users than in Ethereum. So, our goal to provide access to all blockchains depending on user’s task

@feranno

What are your most different features compared to your competitors?

@korneva_a,

I would say that we are multichain and will have crosschain solution soon as well, none of our competitors have it at the moment.

@geldf

“STAKING” is one of the STRATEGIES to ATTRACT USERS and ACHIEVE MASS ADOPTION

Does your GREAT PROJECT have plan about Staking?

@VLadimirTikhomirov,

Staking is one of the option for token holders attraction, but now we are using burn mechanic — to buy RBC on the exchange and then burn it to decrease total supply. Staking may be implemented in 2021, but not 100%

@kanchana46

DeFi is one of the hottest topics in the blockchain field. Can you share your opinion about DeFi with us?

Do you think DeFi will destroy the existing financial system?

What is your project Approach towards DeFi?

@VLadimirTikhomirov,

Mass adoption for crypto is a key. You know that DeFi community is so small now.

Our challenge — to make all our service EXTREMELY easy to use. You can see it in all our products.

By launching such services more and more people will come to crypto space and use it every day.

@braddey

Currently there are very few orders in Rubic, how do you plan to expand Rubic’s voice to create more liquidity? Do you have an ambassador program?

@VLadimirTikhomirov,

Yes, we will launch Ambassador program in 2021 after some important releases (Binance Smart Chain instant trades + bridge)

@goe1905

Thank you for an outstanding AMA!

In addition to the multichain function, the token creation / listing is a unique rubic feature for me. What is the main audience for this feature? how do you want to reach this target group?

@korneva_a,

Thank you! The main audience is all projects that have just launched their own tokens

@Sony769

a lot of scam projects out there, guess what guarantees that your project is different from them.

@VLadimirTikhomirov,

We were supported by Matic and Binance already, everything is open-sourced and team is public.

@userame_S

Presently as at today, can I possibly use your token in real life for payment?

@VLadimirTikhomirov,

I hope so, but for RBC it’s so early.

@Dollars_N

You guys are doing Ama’s in all group & almost answering same types of questions again n again? How do You feel about it???

@VLadimirTikhomirov,

hahaha. we release new updates almost every week and happy to share it. Also, our views are changing — polkadot as the example

@File_2001

From your website , we can submit problem, suggestion, idea or bug report and get reward, where we can submit that?

@korneva_a,

You can send your idea in our discord section- https://discord.gg/uRwjRes4

Also you can use telegram https://t.me/cryptorubic_chat or support@rubic.finance

@inexted87

What is business model of your project? How it works? and

Who are your potential customers and which markets are you targeting on?

@VLadimirTikhomirov,

We get revenue from every trade. Then distribute it in the following way:

Part 1 . Convert to ETH/DAI for operational needs

Part 2 . Convert to RBC and burn.

Part 3 . Convert to RBC and used for cashback.

@eiluky

How Do you planning to promote your project in different countries, wherein English is not spoken well? Do you have a local communities for them to better understand your project?

@korneva_a,

we don’t have locals communities at the moment, still building the main one in English, however we plan to build them in 2021. If you represent a non English speaking country and want to help Rubic to build a community there — lets us know, send your offer to alexandra@rubic.finance

@maisha56

What strategy will you implement to bring non-crypto-natives into your ecosystem? How do you keep a balance between developing the technology and also improving the value of your token?

@VLadimirTikhomirov,

Hard to reply, since decentralization and privacy can contradict to fiat world. But we will integrate external services which will take care of KYC/AML later.

@Joshblaze

How are you planning to make fees insignificant compared to other swap platforms?

@VLadimirTikhomirov,

Since we just started we are trying to make fees as low as possible, to be attractive for users.

@jerryziz91

P2P trading are really susceptible regarding the validity of seller and buyer. How does Rubic ensure it? Do we for example need pass the KYC for trading on Rubic?

@VLadimirTikhomirov,

no KYC, you just need to fill the trade if you like the conditions. You can refund anytime before execution.

@Facemelter

OK guys, if you want to share your social media handles

@korneva_a

I think we have covered almost all questions and if you have more questions please join our tg /discord chat and ask. Here are the links: https://t.me/cryptorubic_chat and https://discord.gg/uRwjRes4
